Outcomes from Australia's First Open Government Forum Meeting of 28 July 2017
Australia's first Open Government Forum convened for its inaugural meeting on Friday 28 July 2017.
Newly appointed Forum members – from both government and civil society – had the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss a range of matters including the development of the next National Action Plan and opportunities to continue raising awareness about open government.
Highlights of the agenda included a retrospective on the OGP Australia experience to date, and a working lunch trade fair, where Forum members were able to meet and engage with government officers delivering commitments under the Open Government National Action Plan. Forum members also discussed the new beta-version commitment dashboard on the OGPAU website, which features status updates on the 15 Open Government commitments of the Plan. Minutes of the first meeting are available below.
