Midterm Self-Assessment Report for Australia’s first Open Government National Action Plan 2016-18
On Fri 22 September, the Minister for Finance, Senator the Hon Mathias Cormann approved the Midterm Self-Assessment Report for Australia’s first Open Government National Action Plan 2016-18 (MSA Report) . The MSA Report assesses the development of Australia's first Open Government National Action Plan 2016-18 and implementation, so far, of its commitments. It concluded that Australia is making steady progress on meeting its Open Government Commitments, with only three of fifteen commitments delayed against original timelines.
As required by the OGP Participation and Co-Creation Standards, the draft MSA Report was open for a two week public consultation period. from Monday 4 – Sunday 17 September. Drafts of the MSA Report were also circulated to all Australian Government agencies responsible for implementing Open Government commitments, as well as Open Government Forum members.
