Australia is in the process of developing its third National Action Plan 2020-22 (NAP3). National Action Plans are jointly developed by Government and Civil Society to help make Governments more transparent, accountable and publicly engaged.
You can find further details of the NAP3 development methodology in the papers and minutes from our forum meetings.
- Phase 1a (Awareness Raising & Initial Ideas) and Phase 2a (Ideation Period) are now complete.
- Phase 2b (Deliberation & Drafting) is now underway. Anyone can provide comment on the suite of proposed concepts via the NAP3 OGP Online Engagement Space.
Public comments will be reviewed by seven working groups which have been convened across government and civil society to develop draft commitments for NAP3.
More information on the NAP3 consultation timeline and activities is available.
