Australia’s first National Action Plan submitted
The Minister for Finance, Senator the Hon. Mathias Cormann, today announced the finalisation of Australia’s first National Action Plan.
The Plan contains 15 ambitious commitments focused on: transparency and accountability in business; open data and digital transformation; access to government information; integrity in the public sector; and public participation and engagement.

Update from the Open Government Partnership
The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet has received a letter from the Open Government Partnership (OGP) formally requesting that Australia submit its National Action Plan by the end of 2016. This is consistent with previous advice from the OGP Support Unit.

Outcomes of OGP Public Information Sessions
